NAIC Expresses Concern About Climate Change

Climate change.does it or doesn't it exist? The debate rages on in scientific circles, but in the halls of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), there is a general understanding that climate change is, in fact, a bona fide issue. This understanding was cemented when, in September 2005 as the NAIC was preparing for its fall meeting in New Orleans, a meeting that would include a symposium on climate change, a tragic irony slammed ashore - Hurricane Katrina.
