What is RSS?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a method for getting and sending news and information. You can subscribe to an RSS feed and have the latest news and information sent to your RSS reader program. The RSS reader program will alert you when there is new information for you to read.

In its simplest terms, RSS readers allow you to read the news and information from all your favorite online sources at a single location, your RSS reader.

How will RSS help me?

Several RSS feeds can be loaded into your RSS program. The RSS reader will alert you when new content is available on any of your feeds. This can save you time from having to check multiple sites regularly. When your RSS reader alerts you of new content, you get to choose whether you want to go to the site for more information.

How can I subscribe to an RSS feed?

NAMIC has made it as simple as possible for you to subscribe to its RSS news feeds.

1. Click on one of the RSS reader images below the news feed title and description
2. Login to or sign up for the RSS reader service you prefer
3. Follow the instructions provided by the RSS reader

In most cases, you can sign up for the RSS reader service for FREE and in a very short period of time. For specific instructions and options for your RSS reader preference, see your RSS reader's help documentation.

How do I read an RSS feed?

Once you've subscribed to a NAMIC news feed following the steps above, all you need to do is visit your preferred RSS reader to get latest news and information from NAMIC Online. Your RSS reader will alert you when new news and information has been posted at NAMIC Online.
