House Approves Farm Bill, Majority Vote Will Override Possible Veto
The U.S. House of Representatives approved a five-year, $307 billion farm bill Wednesday. While President George Bush has threatened to veto the bill, the large margin of the House's vote - 318 to 106 - will allow for a veto override. The Senate is expected to pass the bill as well.
