Playing it Safe around Crop Protection Chemicals

With planting season in full swing - if not winding down - and the growing season beginning, it's time to think about protecting what's been planted. Crop protection chemicals are necessary to ensure the production of food from our nation's farms and ranches. They prevent unwanted weeds, insects, rodents, fungus, and diseases, but these chemicals must also be handled with care to reduce potential hazardous exposure.
