With all the hazards presented in workplaces throughout the United States, it is no wonder that organizations such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health exist in attempt to keep the American workforce as safe as possible. What is a wonder is that agriculture, consistently one of the most dangerous occupations in the country, does not fully fall under the jurisdictions of these organizations.
