Intent to Conduct Testimonials

I have worked with NAMIC to provide FMDC credits for the Illinois Farm Mutual Directors for years. NAMIC continues to improve the process of offering these courses to our members making our partnership almost effortless on the states. They have developed an Intent to Conduct form that provides a checklist which is easy to follow as well as providing each state with a pre-approved speaker list when we need experts on specific modules.

The newly redesigned sign-in sheet allows us to add attendees to each class utilizing excel, which easily identifies new attendees and provides accurate reporting to NAMIC. I have considered the FMDC program a WIN-WIN for our state as we provide excellent education, top-notch facilitators, and have helped develop stronger boards for our Mutuals.

Finally, Lauren and the NAMIC staff provide excellent service which enables this program to operate so smoothly.

We feel we have a great board, but as with most boards, they are a very busy group. In order to provide quality, relevant educational materials, we chose to offer FMDC webinars to our board before every board meeting, which has worked out wonderfully for us. An added benefit is that they all hear the same thing and we can discuss how it applies to our company.

The FMDC webinars have allowed our Board of Directors to learn and grow together in a familiar environment. We’ve found the course content to be very beneficial to the enrichment of our Board. The program has made the job of tracking and managing the directors’ certification credits incredibly easy. Best of all, the staff at NAMIC make the whole process a breeze.

As the North Dakota State Association leader, I have utilized the Intent to Conduct process for the FMDC courses offer once a year for member companies. The process is simple and easy to complete! Lauren Holdcroft does a terrific job as the Certification Administrator, and is a great resource!

Viewing the FMDC webinar presentations has been a great experience for our Board. It has given them great insight into insurance operations. In addition, NAMIC really makes the Intent to Conduct process and subsequent follow up painless and very efficient.

The FMDC Intent to Conduct process is simple and quick. Just pick your course(s) from the catalogue, get the list of approved speakers from Lauren if you don’t want to go through the speaker approval process (also quick and simple), and download the Intent to Conduct form from the NAMIC website. The speaker list is a sortable Excel table, so you can pick your speaker by state or topic.
