The Marketplace for Mutuals at NAMIC's annual convention showcases exhibits from more than 110 companies offering solutions and innovative products gathered especially for the more than 1,000 property/casualty insurance leaders in attendance. The marketplace is designed to enhance attendee connections with comfortable lounge spaces, unique experiences, and networking opportunities. The Marketplace for Mutuals continues to develop as a destination of its own at the NAMIC Annual Convention. Highlights include:

The Marketplace for Mutuals is held on the first two days of NAMIC’s convention.

Exhibitor setup:

  • Sunday, Sept. 21 | 12 - 6 p.m.

  • Monday, Sept. 22 | 8 - 9:30 a.m.; 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.; 4:15 - 5:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Sept. 23 | 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.; 2 - 4 p.m.

Dismantle:

  • Tuesday, Sept. 23 | 4 - 6 p.m.

Exhibit Prices


NAMIC offers two types of booth spaces - standard and premium. Premium spaces are located in higher traffic areas and are either on the end of an aisle or bordering the lounges.

  • Non-member standard booth = $2,250
  • Non-member premium booth = $2,500
  • Member standard booth = $1,950
  • Member premium booth = $2,000

All booths are 10’x10’ and booths can be combined to 10’x20’.

Booths include:

  • Two attendee registrations and additional staff registrations can be added for $495
  • Exhibitor registrations included breakfast and lunch on Monday and Tuesday, the Chairman’s reception on Sunday evening, and the welcome reception on Monday evening. Please note that a ticket to the Closing Celebration is an additional charge and can be added to any exhibitor registration.
  • Carpet is provided in the selected event color
  • One draped table (8’ standard, unless a 6’ foot is indicated on the booth registration form)
  • Two chairs, wastebasket, booth identification sign
  • Standard pipe & drape between booths
  • Attendee registration list with name, title, company, and mailing address sent 30 days, 15 days prior to the convention. Please note that email addresses are a benefit of sponsorship at the convention.
  • Complimentary listing in NAMIC’s exhibitor directory and opportunities to upgrade to additional advertisement options.
  • Complimentary registration to NAMIC’s popular exhibitor webinars which are designed to help you succeed as an exhibitor at the convention.

Exhibitor Services/Union Jurisdictions


Exhibitor services, such as additional furniture, electrical, and internet access, can be ordered within the exhibitor kit.

Marketplace for Mutuals Activities


Numerous activities are scheduled throughout the Marketplace to increase attendee traffic and exhibitor visibility.

  • NAMIC Central is the anchor of the marketplace, offering attendees and exhibitors a welcoming place to sit and talk.
  • Unique and interesting activities make the Marketplace a destination of its own. This year the marketplace will showcase the antics of the Racing Presidents, the national monuments in ice, and other exciting things to experience.
  • Comfortable lounges are mixed within the Marketplace and provide the attendees a place to sit plan their visits to the exhibitors or offer an alternative meeting space away from your booth.
  • Various meals are served within the Marketplace and coffee is served in the hall during show hours
  • On Monday afternoon, the Marketplace is the site of a attendee reception featuring a must-be-present-to-win grand prize drawing that traditionally attracts more than 600 attendees.
  • Tuesday afternoon features an ice cream social.

Advertising Opportunities


Exhibitor Directory

The Marketplace for Mutuals Directory will include all exhibiting companies* and each listing will include the company name, the company website, a brief company description, and booth number.

Exhibitors have the opportunity to enhance their company recognition by adding a company logo to their directory listing for an additional $100. Exhibitor logos will be displayed along with the corresponding company listing and will appear in color. Please note that exhibitor directory logos are not refundable. Please ensure that you are able to provide a print-ready logo before purchasing.

Exhibitors may also choose to purchase a full page advertisement within the directory. Ads will be full-page and full color. Please note that exhibitor directory ads are not refundable. Please ensure that you are able to produce print ready artwork before purchasing your directory advertisement.

Company logos and artwork should be sent to exhibitshow@namic.org in either .jpeg or.eps file format.

Hotel Reservations


NAMIC is pleased to extend the negotiated hotel sleeping room rate to all registered exhibitors. A completed exhibitor booth registration is required to receive the NAMIC discounted room rate. Exhibitors will receive the reservation web-link in a confirmation e-mail after completing the online booth registration form.

ATTENTION: MEMBERS & PARTICIPANTS IN NAMIC’S ANNUAL CONVENTION

Occasionally, groups claiming to be a “Convention Housing Bureau” (or a similar name) have contacted registered and/or regular attendees of the NAMIC Annual Convention claiming the ability to secure room reservations at the official NAMIC hotel in September at a discounted rate. Please be aware that these companies are not authorized to represent NAMIC, and cannot secure rooms within the group room block. Unfortunately, this problem is becoming more prevalent among convention groups. If you are considering alternative housing arrangements for the Annual Convention, please keep in mind that there are benefits to booking your reservation through NAMIC including discounted rates, protected reservations, and the ability for NAMIC staff to assist you with a reservation should you experience a problem.
