What is Convention Connection?
Convention Connection is an online community where attendees can meet "virtually" before, during and after Convention to access resources and communicate with one another.

How do I sign up?
Up to one week after registering for Convention, you will receive an invitation containing a unique link that will give you access to setup your profile.

How do I access the Convention Connection site?

• Already registered for Convention (over 10 days ago*) but have not set up a profile yet: The first step is setting up your profile. You should have received an invitation via email to set up your profile. If you need a second copy of the invitation, please send an email to shull@namic.org.
• Recently registered for Convention: If you’ve registered recently and have not received an invitation, please watch your in box for an invitation to set up your profile.
• Not registered for Convention but want to access Convention Connection: This is an exclusive networking site for those attending NAMIC’s 117th Annual Convention. To register for the event, please visit http://www.namic.org/convention/convRegistration.asp.

*Convention Connection invitations are sent out 1 time weekly.

Why should I setup a profile?
This new tool will allow attendees, speakers, and exhibitors to connect and network with other attendees both pre- and post-Convention. By creating a customized profile, participants will be given access to the following benefits:

• Create a personalized schedule, which can be printed, sent to Outlook, or viewed from an iPhone or Blackberry. Schedules can include convention sessions, meetings with exhibitors or reinsurers, or social functions - individual or convention related.
• Setup meetings or social outings with other attendees via community invitations. Any meeting accepted by two or more parties will be added to each attendees personal schedule.
• Receive up-to-the-minute notifications of any convention scheduling changes via the community.
• Connect with convention speakers and download speaker materials and handouts directly from the community.
• Use community tags to connect with other attendees who share similar interests.
