Chamness' blog features news and commentary on NAMIC's effective advocacy, strategic public policy, and valuable member services. Every week, Chamness shares his perspectives on insurance industry trends, state and federal legislative and regulatory developments, and the ongoing advocacy and public policy efforst by NAMIC staff on behalf of NAMIC members.
Chamness was appointed president of NAMIC in September 2005. Prior to his appointment he was executive vice president, vice president of public affairs, and worked in Washington, D.C. in a variety of positions in financial services and housing policy before joining NAMIC. Chuck has been on the Insurance-Letter's annual List of the 100 Most Powerful People in the Insurance Industry since he was named NAMIC president.
