Chamness was appointed president & CEO of NAMIC in September 2005. Prior to his current appointment, he was NAMIC’s executive vice president and vice president of public affairs. Before joining NAMIC, he worked in Washington, D.C., in a variety of positions in financial services and housing policy. Chuck has been on the Insurance-Letter's annual List of the 100 Most Powerful People in the Insurance Industry since he was named NAMIC president & CEO.
