NAMIC has received the following important notice from our communications partner, the Georgia Insurance Information Service.

GCIC DATA CALL TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED

The Georgia Underwriting Association reports that the data call recently announced for the Georgia Coastal Insurance Corporation has been suspended and is being revised.

Due to the complexity of the current call, a new, much more user-friendly version is under development and should be ready within one week.

Several insurers have been concerned about the complexity of the data development and other issues. This new version of the data call should provide a much more expedient way to develop and report the necessary data.
