Massachusetts: Agents Turn to Ballot Initiative to Prohibit Use of Credit, Education, Occupation
Massachusetts does not currently allow auto insurers to utilize credit, education, or occupation as factors in the rating and underwriting of private passenger auto insurance, but that is not stopping the Massachusetts Association of Insurance Agents from utilizing every procedural avenue to have a statute banning use of such factors enacted.

| I have never registered for NAMIC.org. In the upper right hand corner, select “CREATE ACCOUNT”. Please be aware that you will initially be logged into NAMIC.org as a non-member. It can take up to 1 business day to process a member access request. You will receive an email when your request has been approved. You will then need to log out of the website and log back in to view member content. |
