New Mexico: EMS Fee Surtax Legislation Up for Floor Vote Today

HB 99, Emergency Medical Services, as amended, is scheduled for a House floor vote today. The bill passed, as amended, out of the House Committee on Health and Government Affairs Jan. 28 on a 7-0 voted. It was then heard Feb. 4 in the House Appropriations Committee and was assigned to a subcommittee within that committee for a detailed evaluation of the bill. The bill was voted out of the Appropriations Committee as amended Feb. 6 on a 9-5 vote, and it was then scheduled for a House floor vote yesterday, but was laid-over until today.
