NAMIC submitted testimony today to the Missouri Senate Small Business, Insurance and Industry Committee in favor of Senate Bill 748, the Fairness for Responsible Drivers Bill. SB 748 would prevent drivers who flout the state’s mandatory insurance law from recovering non-economic damages, such as pain and suffering, in lawsuits. In previous years, a similar bill was informally known as “No Play/No Pay.”
