NAMIC Announces 2009 Federal Legislator of the Year: Rep. David Scott of Georgia
Every year, NAMIC presents the Federal Legislator of the Year Award to a legislator in recognition of his/her outstanding leadership on financial services issues and dedication to public service. Previous recipients include Rep. Richard Baker (R-La.) in 2006, Senator Ben Nelson (D-Neb.) in 2007 and Senator Susan Collins (R-Maine) in 2008.
