Secretary Geithner Testifies Before Congress on Administration’s Plans for Regulatory Reform

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner returned to Capitol Hill last week to answer questions regarding the Obama administration’s recently released white paper on financial services regulatory reform. He testified Thursday morning at a hearing before the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs. The hearing was attended by the entire membership of the committee – a rare occurrence in Washington.
