NAMIC Provides Guidance on Newly Implemented Identity Theft Rules

On November 9, 2007, six federal agencies - Federal Reserve Board, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, National Credit Union Administration, Federal Trade Commission, Comptroller of the Currency, and Office of Thrift Supervision - issued joint regulations imposing new identity theft requirements.
