Florida: Deregulation Bill on Governor’s Desk; Will He or Won’t He Sign?

Florida HB 1171, sometimes called the deregulation or consumer choice bill, landed on Gov. Charlie Crist’s desk Friday. He has until June 27 to act on the legislation. If the governor neither signs nor vetoes HB 1171, it will become law without his signature.
