NAMIC Testifies Today Before Capital Markets Subcommittee
NAMIC Chairman-elect John T. Hill, president/COO of Magna Carta Companies, testified today on behalf of NAMIC before the House Subcommittee on Capital Markets, Insurance, and Government Sponsored Enterprises. The hearing, “Systemic Risk and Insurance,” is likely to be the last hearing on insurance before the House considers legislation to address problems in the financial services sector. NAMIC secured its seat at this critical hearing as a representative of the property/casualty insurance industry.
