Louisiana ‘Step-Down’ Coverage Ban Advances to Senate Floor

Despite opposition from NAMIC and other industry representatives, Louisiana HB 208, which would ban “step-down” coverage for permissive drivers under auto insurance policies, received a favorable report last week from the Senate Insurance Committee and now goes to the full Senate.
