Louisiana: House Insurance Committee Allows Auto 'Step-down' Coverage Ban to Move Forward

Despite written comments from NAMIC and testimony by other industry representatives, the Louisiana House Insurance Committee last week gave a favorable report to HB 208, which would outlaw “step-down” limits for permissive users under automobile insurance policies.
