Victory in Florida

NAMIC and the Florida Insurance Council scored a victory for the industry last week with a successful lobbying effort to stop a proposed Office of Insurance Regulation rule that would have reinterpreted a state statute to prohibit insurers from surcharging for not-at-fault accidents for new business.
