Nevada: NAMIC Submits Written Testimony Opposing First-party Bad-faith Mandatory Attorney’s Fees, Costs Award Bill

The Senate Commerce and Labor Committee held a public hearing April 24 on the amended version of AB 224, Revised Provisions Relating to Unfair Practice in Settling Insurance Claims. The bill previously passed out of the Assembly Commerce and Labor Committee and was voted out of the Assembly with an amendment to remove health insurers from the scope of the bill.
