Rhode Island: DBR Pulls Back on NAMIC-opposed Weather-related Claims Bill

At a hearing last week, the head of the Department of Business Regulation’s Insurance Division asked lawmakers to hold off on action on a bill proposed by the DBR that would restrict property insurers’ ability to make underwriting decisions and take actions based on weather-related claims.
