Rhode Island: NAMIC Opposes Additional Restriction on Insurers’ Use of Hurricane Deductibles

NAMIC testified against a bill last week that would create an additional restriction on property insurers’ use of hurricane deductibles because it would create consumer confusion and further hinder insurers’ ability to manage risk effectively.
