California: NAMIC’s State Advocacy Partner Resolute in Efforts to Protect ‘Informed’ Consumer Choice in Auto Repair Shop Selections

NAMIC’s national carrier state advocacy partner, the Personal Insurance Federation of California, submitted written comments and testified in opposition to the California Department of Insurance’s proposed anti-steering regulation during the CDI’s public hearing Feb. 25 on Regulation File: REG-2008-00036, Proposed Amendments to Title 10, Chapter 5, Subchapter 9 of the California Code of Regulations (CCR) the new Article 7.5 Regulation Implementing and Interpreting Insurance Code 758.5.
