While members of Congress continue assessing potential responses to the crisis in the financial markets, NAMIC is working hard to develop a comprehensive response. A 15-member Task Force on Financial Services established by NAMIC Board Chairman Bruce Thomas and chaired by Chairman-elect John Hill has met twice in the last month. Its mission: Begin to develop a NAMIC policy statement that will serve as a guide to respond to proposals and actions related to the crisis.
