NAMIC Comments on NAIC Review of Credit Scoring Studies

During the summer national meeting of the NAIC in June, Montana State Auditor John Morrison, chair of the Market Regulation and Consumer Affairs (D) Committee, asked NAIC staff to prepare a written review of studies that have been performed on insurer use of credit-based insurance scoring. The first draft of that review paper was released at the end of August and the NAIC solicited comments from interested parties.
