NAMIC Presses CMS on Burdensome New Requirements

With less than a year to go before insurers will need to comply with new regulations from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, NAMIC participated in a town hall meeting to get clarification and try to reduce the number of data elements required. The town hall Q&A session gave us a chance to get specifics on the implementation of the Medicare, Medicaid, and SCHIP Extension Act reporting requirements, such as the Medicare Secondary Payor.
