The Indiana Supreme Court issued its opinion Oct. 15 in Travelers Casualty and Surety Company, et al. v. United States Filter Corp., finding that where insurance policies contain provisions barring assignment of the policy without the consent of the insurer, consent is required unless the assignment occurs after an identifiable loss.
