Massachusetts: Paid, Not Billed, Medical Expenses Should be Used as Basis for Damages, NAMIC Argues in Amicus Brief

Plaintiffs should not be allowed to introduce evidence of billed medical expenses for consideration by juries in calculating damage awards in cases where it is undisputed that the medical providers accepted less as full payment for services, NAMIC argues in an amicus brief recently filed with the Massachusetts Appeals Court.
