Flood Reform Battle Headed for Next Congress After Short-term Extension Passed

NAMIC is very disappointed that after months of negotiations, the House and Senate failed to reach a consensus on a flood insurance reform package. Instead, Congress enacted an extension of the National Flood Insurance Program through March 6, 2009, just as it was set to expire last week.
