Kansas: Insurance Department Pulls Proposed Amendment to Annual Audited Financial Statements Regulation, Will Submit NAIC’s Version with SOX Requirements by Year's End

At a recent hearing attended by representatives of the Kansas Association of Property and Casualty Insurance Companies and NAMIC, the Kansas Insurance Department formally withdrew its proposed amendment to the state’s Annual Audited Financial Statements regulation. NAMIC and KAPCIC had highlighted the proposal and the anticipated withdrawal in two member advisories (1 AND 2) sent earlier.
