During the June meeting of the NAIC/Legislative Liaison Committee in San Francisco, NAIC President Sandy Praeger talked with NCOIL chair Rep. Patrick Kennedy of Rhode Island about working together to bring legislators to NAIC headquarters to learn more about the association and how it operates. Apparently as a follow-up to those discussions, but with a slightly different twist, the NAIC will begin a “State Legislator Orientation” program at the upcoming fall national meeting in Maryland.
