Florida: NAMIC Challenges OIR Attempt to Disallow Market Conduct Exam Conferences, Hearings

NAMIC joined its state trade partner, the Florida Insurance Council, and the American Insurance Association on July 7 to file a challenge to the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation’s proposal to repeal Rule 69N-121.066. The rule sets out the required procedure for insurers to review and raise concerns following market conduct exams before OIR’s findings are made public.
