Connecticut: Governor Signs Auto Body Legislation That Preserves Consumer Choice

Gov. M. Jodi Rell signed legislation June 6 that would establish certain notice requirements for insurers regarding consumers’ rights to have their auto repaired at their shop of choice, but would not prohibit insurers from making referrals as a bill advanced by the auto body industry would have done.
