Michigan: OFIR Holds on Bad Form Regulation Idea

The Michigan Office of Insurance Regulation held a public meeting last week to hear testimony on a proposal to require insurance companies to file policy forms, rules, and rates electronically through the System for Electronic Rate and Form Filing and to rescind Exemption Order 97-010-M that exempts most personal lines policy forms from filing and prior approval requirements.
