NAMIC Refutes Claims Made by Consumer Federation of America on Best Regulatory Structure

Last Thursday, the Consumer Federation of America released a report claiming laws that require insurers to get advance approval before setting auto rates benefit consumers. According to the study, rates have risen more slowly in states that impose tighter regulation on insurers.
