Florida: Property Insurance Divide Between House and Senate Becoming a Chasm

Week 4 of the 2008 Florida legislative session was a busy one for insurance industry representatives. The House Insurance Committee kicked things off Monday with a spirited workshop on Citizens and a great deal of discussion about the state-run insurer's unsound rate level and its likely inability to raise the funds necessary to pay claims in the event of a mega-storm.
