Michigan: Governor Creates Insurance Advocate
According to the Insurance Institute of Michigan, a NAMIC advocacy partner, Democratic Gov. Jennifer Granholm has named Detroit lawyer Melvin Butch Hollowell as automobile and home insurance consumer advocate in the Michigan Office of Financial and Insurance Services.
