NAMIC Applauds IRS Decision to Withdraw Controversial Captive Tax Deduction Rule

NAMIC submitted comments and met with members of the IRS and the U.S. Department of Treasury recently, raising concerns about the proposed consolidated return regulations and urging the IRS to abandon the proposed rule. Last week, the IRS decided to withdraw the proposal.
