Last Tuesday, the Florida Senate Banking and Insurance Committee voted almost unanimously not to propose a committee bill to reenact the public records exemption granted by law to insurance companies for credit scoring methodologies. The exemption will sunset on Oct. 2, 2008, if the Legislature does not act to continue it.
