New York: Assembly, Senate Approve Bill Requiring Annual Notice Regarding Lack of Flood Coverage

The New York Assembly and Senate last week approved legislation requiring insurers to provide homeowners and dwelling fire insureds with an annual notice explaining that the policies do not cover flood losses and that such coverage is available through the National Flood Insurance Program.
