Last week, the Advocacy Update published an article regarding Washington HB 3053, the auto glass repair bill, inadvertently stating the bill died in committee. However, the bill is still alive.
The bill would impose serious restrictions on a carrier’s ability to assist its insureds in selecting an auto glass repair shop.
NAMIC regrets the typographical error, and will continue to work with our member companies to defeat this legislation.
