Michigan: Governor Creates Consumer Advocate for Insurance
Late Friday, Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm issued an Executive Order creating the position of Automobile and Home Insurance Consumer Advocate. She also renamed the state agency with regulatory responsibility the Office of Financial and Insurance Regulation, formerly Financial and Insurance Services.
