The latest government report on the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina contains few surprises for the property/casualty insurance industry. "This report has no mention of any evidence that the insurance industry engaged in a pattern of improperly attributing wind damage to water," said Carl Parks, NAMIC's senior vice president for government affairs. Parks was responding to a report from the Government Accountability Office.
