Colorado: Credit-based Insurance Scoring Prohibition Bill to be Heard on House Floor

The House Business Affairs and Labor Committee held a public hearing Jan. 24 on HB 1143, the Credit-based Insurance Scoring Prohibition bill. In spite of a wealth of testimony by the insurance industry about the legitimacy of credit-based insurance scoring and the strict state law governing the use of credit-based insurance scores, the bill was passed out of committee on a 6-5 vote.
