Washington: NAMIC, Industry Members Request Attorney General Opinion on Confidentiality Provision of Revised Code

Earlier this month, NAMIC submitted a letter to the Attorney General's Office requesting a formal opinion on the proper interpretation of RCW 48.02.065, Confidentiality of Documents, Materials, or Other Information - Public Disclosure. NAMIC specifically incorporated by reference into its letter a memorandum of law drafted by the law firm of Ryan, Swanson and Cleveland, PLLC, on behalf of various members of the Washington insurance market.
