South Dakota: Insurance Director Announces Pre-Session Meeting

South Dakota Insurance Director Merle Scheiber has scheduled a pre-legislative session meeting for Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 1 p.m. in Room 412 of the Capitol Building.

Bills included in the department’s preliminary legislative package can be found online.

These proposals are preliminary and have not been approved by the governor.

NAMIC members will be particularly interested in DRR9, which clarifies rate filing procedures.
