The NAMIC Farm Mutual Conference board of directors created the Professional Farm Mutual Manager of the Year Award in 2002 to recognize the accomplishments of an outstanding farm mutual manager. The award recipient must be a PFMM designate and must perform at a high level in marketing, administrative, and financial management.
To nominate someone who has the PFMM designation, the nomination form must be completed and submitted with any supporting documentation. In addition, letters of recommendation may be included from individuals such as company board president, reinsurance company representative and/or state association executive.
Former nominees and past award winners may be re-submitted, but must be nominated again. Previous paperwork may be used in these incidences, along with updated information.
The awards committee will review all nominations and select each year's recipient of the award on the basis of exceptional achievements in both the short and the long term during the nominee's career. The 2008 award will be presented at the NAMIC 113th Annual Convention during the Farm Mutual Conference annual business meeting beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 29, 2008, at the Marriott in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
All 2008 nominations must be received at NAMIC no later than Thursday, July 31, 2008.
Nominations can be submitted online, or sent to Tiffany Milzarek via e-mail at tmilzarek@namic.org, by fax at (317) 879-8408, or by mail to:
