North Dakota Senate to Vote on Increasing the Minimum Liability Limits to 30/60/30

Vote Against House Bill 1068

NAMIC has learned that the North Dakota Senate will soon consider House Bill 1068, legislation to increase the minimum liability limits to $30,000 per person; $60,000 per accident; and $30,000 for property damage. The pertinent language reads as follows:

Please ask your employees and agents who are North Dakota citizens to contact their senators by telephone or e-mail and let them know:

While this legislation is well intentioned, economic experts believe that during this time of economic uncertainty, this proposal is likely to increase the number of uninsured drivers. Please vote no.

Those who are uncertain about who their state senator is or how to contact him/her should visit capwiz.com.
